This
section contains MIDIs that Trista has sequenced. In 1993-94 she
posted quite a few Queen MIDIs in a music forum on CompuServe.
And, to this day, you may see them pop up on different web pages
and MIDI collections on the Web. She's also done a number Barenaked
Ladies MIDIs. (Her "Shoe Box" was used in some of their 97/99
shows and their '99 PPV). In addition, there's some other MIDIs
she's done and while some of these files have made their way to
the web, most of them have never seen the light of day.
Trista
requests that if you do download and use any of the files in anyway
that you do not submit them to any MIDI database pages. (She's
against those.) And, if you wish to use any on a web page or other
publicly accessible means, please ask for permission at trista@unoriginal.com.
Although some may not sound like it, she wasted a lot of time
on these files and just wants to keep track of where they end
up the best she can. Please do her these two favors.
Cannibal!
The Musical: Cannibal! is Trey Parker's first feature length
film. It stars Trey, Matt Stone, Dian Bacher, Jason McHugh, Ian
Hardin, and Toddy Walters. The film is based on the story of Alferd
Packer, the only man in US history to be convicted of cannibalism
- it's a comedy. Available through one Flash file are Shpadoinkle,
That's All I'm Asking For, and The Trapper Song. More to be added
when finished. Also available through this link is one song from
the movie BASEketball by DVDA, Trey Parker and Matt Stone's band.
Barenaked
Ladies: BNL are a Canadian music fivesome composed of Ed Robertson,
Steven Page, Tyler Stewart, Jim Creeggan, and Kevin Hearn. They're
best known in the US for One Week, The Old Apartment, It's All
Been Done, and Pinch Me. Trista has sequenced none of these songs.
Available through one Flash file are Shoe Box, Stomach Vs. Heart,
Trust Me, What a Good Boy, and Little Tiny Song. The last two
suck. The first two rock as much as she can make a MIDI file rock.
Queen:
No introduction is needed. In 2001, Queen will be inducted into
the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Trista taught herself MIDI sequencing
using Queen songs. From 93-94 she sequenced just about all songs
from Innuendo, Classic Queen, Greatest Hits, and Greatest Hits
II. Because she learned as she went along, listening to the MIDIs
now, she's not happy with them. As she fixes them up, they'll
be added to the Queen flash file. The Queen file kicks off with
5 songs.
Other:
There's plenty of other MIDIs to come at some later date, includings
They Might Be Giants, Lilac Time, and South Park songs.
